糖尿病慢性并发症严重影响患者的生活质量,且近年发病率呈上升趋势。四氢生物蝶呤(BH4)是多种芳香族羟化酶及一氧化氮合酶的重要辅助因子,近年来BH4在抗氧化应激、线粒体调控、血管内皮保护、神经性疼痛及炎症免疫反应等方面的作用引起了广泛关注,其水平变化被认为与糖尿病及其并发症的发生发展关系密切,有望成为新的治疗靶点。本文就BH4的生物合成及其与糖尿病慢性并发症的关系作一综述。
Chronic comlications of diabetes mellitus seriously affects patients′ quality of life, and the incidence is on the rise. Tetrahydrobiopterin (BH4) is an important cofactor for varieties of aromatic hydroxylases and nitric oxide synthase. In recent years, the role of BH4 in participating in anti-oxidative stress, mitochondrial regulation, vascular endothelial protection, neuropathic pain and inflammatory immune response and so on has attracted widespread attention. BH4 level change is considered to be closely related to the occurrence and development of diabetes mellitus and its complications, and it is expected to become a new therapeutic target. This article reviews the BH4 biosynthesis and its relationship with chronic complications of diabetes mellitus.
